Make sure that you arrive at the correct port for departure. It might seem obvious until you make the mistake.

Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol on the boat is not advisable as you have a rwo and a half hour coach journey after the arriving at Holy Head and no stops for toilet breaks. No drinking of alcohol is allowed on the coach.

Change your phone to manual network selection.  Select your roaming network (ask your provider who this is before travelling) otherwise you may end up paying large fees for network hopping.

Make sure that when leaving your room at the end of the trip that you double check you haven't left anything behind. 

If you left your car down at the port make sure that you have change for the ticket machine or a credit card.
